can't remove old Price Pfister tub fawcett handle

Hi! How do we remove an old (20 years old?) fawcett hanle to take it apart and service it during our shower stall/bathroom remodel. We are doing the work ourselves. We are afraid of breaking it and can't find any screws or other ways to take it loose.
