Assuming that the control is not already set for the maximum pressure from the main, then you turn it clockwise to raise the pressure. But usually when they get too far out of adjustment, the valve is due for repair, or preferably replacement. : How do I adjust the water pressure at the main : through the pressure reducing valve? : The valve has a nut at the end of it. Do I turn the nut clockwise or : counter-clockwise to increase the pressure? : Thanks.
