If their idea of a "forced main" is the same as mine, then you will not hook up to it without a good pump and some very sophisticated control devices. But they may mean that it flows to a resevoir and is then pumped out by a municipal pump through a high pressure waste line. In that case, you need a local contractor to detemine the sewer depth and the method of connecting to the main. : I am trying to find out what it takes to hook up to the municipal sewer line. I am told that it is a forced main. What type of equipment will I need to make this work? I have a four bedroom home with an on-site sysem, a 1000 gal septic tank and the run from the septic tank to the sewer main will be approx 200'. : Also would you have a ball park figure (cost) for the equipment needed. : Any help will be appreciated : Thanks : E
