|In response to Re:Moen Shower Faucet|
: sounds like you may be talking about the "seat" inside the valve. you will need a seat wrench to remove it. remove the diverter stem, put the seat wrench in and turn it counterclockwise.
Posted msg on 7/14 about Moen shower faucet. I changed the diverter but that hasn't completely solved the problem. I still have water coming from the showerhead even when the diverter isn't activated. Someone replied and said that the pipe/valve that the diverter fits into is probably worn to the degree that water is seeping around the diverter. Can anybody out there tell me how to change that pipe? Thanks.
