I have a clog in my sewer line, due to roots. I know approximately where the clog is, probably at a joint right. I have two questions. 1. My house is 26 years old in orlando, fl and the line is pvc. How many feet to you think each section of the line is, from joint to joint. Knowing this will help me find the exact location because i know where one joint is and the clog appears to be after that joint. Second, is rootx the best thing to kill the roots. What are my chances if I dig where the clog is, cut back the roots and repair the joint, you know duct tape it and throw rocks around it. Thanks.
