48" seems to be a standard width for shower enclosures. Most seem to be 34" or 36" deep, however. I looked forever until I found a 48" x 32" deep shower enclosure/base made by E L Mustee, located in Cleveland, OH. I special-ordered it at Home Depot here in MI. You could look at www.mustee.com, and see if they've got the dimensions you need.
