Here's the deal. We just moved into a new house and the lady before us said the washer drain will back up and that I need to seal the drain from the machine into the pipe very securely. She said there was no clog, yet it backs up evertime I use it and it sounds like there is air trapped in the drain pipe. It is not connected to any other drain. Do I need to add a vent, and if so how?
