We bought a house in 1998 that was built in 1985. There had been previous plumbing repairs that had been done, but we had no way of knowing that it was because of the KIND of pipe used. Anyway, we had a really big leak that occurred in the concrete slab! We filed a claim but the people at the CPRC denied it since it happened 6 months past the deadline. The plumber who did our repair work said that the nature of the previous repairs was obviously due to the pipe being polyb. Despite the fact that this house has had previous problems they denied the claim. All our neighbors have been replumbed. How can we appeal this?
