TMU 533 installation

I just ordered an Ultrabath and understand that there are a couple of ways to install the unit. I want to put mine into an alcove and purchased the tub with a skirt and tiling flange. I just want to learn a little about the suggested framing and if I should anchor it in mud? In addition, I am considering purchasing a Toto toilet, looks like I can't go wrong, but would appreciate any comments. Also is there a standard clearance required in front of the toilet?
