|In response to Re: Shower Diverter Doesn't Work!|
: I have a 35 year old Moen shower fixture. When I push the diverter in the water continues to come out of the spout with little to no water coming out of the showerhead. How do I replace the diverter? It seems that at the very least the internal parts are worn out after 35 years. Is this difficult to replace?
perri, All you have do is remove handle then remove the 2 screws holding the plate on, the diverter then can be removed. Moen used 2 lengths on their diverters. Use the link to see a complete parts breakdown of the faucet with the push button diverters. Good luck,
