Plumber just left from fixing a leak in supply line before it enters the house. Problem was a split in the blue plastic pipe (plumber called it a Blue Max pipe that is "notorious" for splitting) Two questions- is there a law suit or product recall on this product (house built in 1989) and what is the recommended replacement material for this kind of pipe if we run a new line--approx. 225'? Thanks for any info
