: : Could there be an obstruction down the toilet line itself?? Has the plumber pulled the toilet off the flange and run a snake down the toilet drainline. If this is a new problem, and the offset flange was installed a while ago, I'm still convinced the problem is not with the offset flange. Marty : : : : : : : The plumber was here again today, each time the first thing that is done is to use the snake tool, then they pull the toilet up off the floor to see under it, each time this is done my ceramic tile is damaged. When you asked "Has the plumber pulled the toilet off the flange and run a snake down the toilet drainline."? The answer is i don't think so. They use the snake only before the toilet is pulled up.Once that's done you can see paper that has piled up and will not flow out. I asked him about that and i was told that if it was in the line other problems would be happening, for example, maybe the bathtub or sink would be backing up. What do you think? Thanks for all your comments. |
