Terry:

I have a 4 yr old house that's tied into city water. As part of a basement remodeling project I added four elbows to a 4 ft section of copper pipe directly after the water meter to make way for some cabinets. Since I moved this pipe the water pressure has significantly decreased. Especially when more than one faucet or valve is open at the same time. This never used to happen. We also started hearing a groaning sound whenever a toilet is flushed while a faucet is open anywhere in the house. Is it possible I restricted the flow by using too much solder? Is it possible that sediments in the meter/valve got knocked loose and are clogging a filter? Thanks for any help you can provide.
