Looking for Contracter/Builder in Florida ??

Hi,
It's Sharen. We are planning to build a home in Alachua, Florida. Does anyone here have a recommendation for a contractor or construction firm in this area, or has an opinion as to which one should be followed.

call the BBB + ANGIES list

call the BBB and Angies list.......

ask for references.....
dont take any of those skumbags at face value....

make them prove to you that they are legit
and do good work....

even if they are on BBB and Angies list
check them out....

If they give you references, CALL THEM

go to the neighborhoods where they have built
a few homes and KNOCK on some doors of
the all customers he has worked for in that area.......

Dont be ashamed to ask, the bad ones hope you are...

either way, you will be glad you did.



Another approach, just call some plumbing contractors +
electrical contractors, in your area and aks them who is
Naughty and Who is nice....
throw a couple of names at them and see if they
start to squeal about being stiffed sometime in the past

they probably know some really good trust worthy people that
they do work for too...in your area.


just always be wary, even with the good ones...

Remember to look at all building contractors like you
are looking at a --- cold blooded back stabbing crockodile--
and you will be ok.
