After reading all the pros/cons/debates/opinions concerning he CSV's I decided to install the CSV (but haven't purchased it yet) based mainly on these factors:
Totally new experience and new well,
unknown quality and unknown continiuous quantity of water,
7 family household,
washing machine/dishwasher/and daily showers

I found a brand new in-the-box-brass pitless adapter with the "T" type.
Since I don't know the quality of water (Sand/bacteria/other unknowns) I'm leaning towards the brass CSV rather than the red plastic. Am correct in thinking the CSV goes into the casing BEFORE the pitless adapter or is this just for the red plastic to address the leakage? Thanks all for any and all advice!

Installing the plastic CSV in the well is mainly to address the leakage. Brass valves can go after the pitless or before any tee in the water line. These valves are sized to your pump. What size pump do you have and what is the static or standing water level and the pumping level of the well?

The pump is 3/4 hp; the static level is 25' and the pump is expected to be set at 80' in trying to find out what size CSV would be needed using a pitless adapter, As always. thanks
