Just thought I would share some of my experience with the great comp[any that manufactures Thomas Skid Steers, specifically the Mini Skid Steer 25 GT.

Bought mine about 3 years ago. Was told it was one of the better ones for the price. Problems that arose immediately.

My warranty was never transferred from the selling dealer.
My lift cylinders were leaking fluid from their seals.
The Drive pump shaft actually snapped in half, (took 9 months to be repaired)
All the bushings and pins in my lift assembly are shot.
Many small minor items that will make this list too long.

Sounds like normal wear and tear? My machine has 49 hours on it.

To make matters worse, Thomas is in and out of banckruptcy and in out of headquartering ion Cananda and the US.

That makes getting parts a bit*h.

I live on Long Island and their customer service rep is sending me at minimum 10 hours upstate New York to order parts. Oh, and no I cant order them directly from Thomas.

IMHO I will never spend my money on a Thomas again. Bobcat maybe overrated but at least I'll have local support.

Any body looking at buying one, be warned!!!!!!!!!
