Any comments on this product/company or anyone have one?? Im going to order one unless I have reason not to. 30 bucks---not bad...
I just want to shower in soft water as we have high minerals here in the desert.
I AM on septic BTW.

It may be about as effective as magnets as far as softening the water is concerned because there is no way for it to remove the hardness and flush it away, so whatever comes into the head has to come out of it.

LOL--OK I won't buy it.

But why can't someone just put a big old salt lick in there and voila! soft water---what is the problemo..?

chlorine filters

This type of filter primarily removes chlorine from the water. How much depends on the size of the filter and how long the water is in contact with the filter material. Doesn't do anything for minerals.
