Last year I had my hot water heater flushed. Since that time I have had low flow hot water in my bathtub and washing machine. The cynic in me thinks whatever was done was done on purpose, it probably wasn't but I don't want to have to call a plumber if I can fix it myself. I have a moen single handle tub/shower faucet (which I plan to replace). Can someone please help!

It is quite possible that the flushing caused some crud to make its way into the rest of the plumbing. There are often fine mesh screens on the inputs to valve or hoses. Try taking the hoses off of the valve at the washing machine and check to see if there are any there, and clean them. Same thing with the bathtub, especially on the shower head. There are likely some internal to the valve - those are a little harder to check and clean. take a look at your vanity faucet and kitchen one, too. Usually, you can just unscrew the aerator, clean it out and replace it.
