was wondering how could i get the handle off that is broken on my shower it,s the hot water using pliers to turn it on an off .

Picture would help. Not clear about what is "broken". If the screw is stripped, then a "screwz-out" tool from Craftsmen is excellent, and often we just take a 3/8" drill bit and hog off the top of the screw.
