Do gas water heaters also build up lime deposits that need drained out? I think I have only read about electric ones thta get that buildup, so I wasnt sure about the gas ones.
Gas will lime up just like electric but can cause poping sounds unlike electric. Flushing will do little for them unless you do it on a regular basis from the time it is newly installed.
