Use of lime on lawn near oak trees

I'm conditioning my soil for a lawn near oaks on my property. Is there any harm in using lime to help establish the lawn? Concerned that it'll adversely affect the health of the oaks.

It seems like oaks don't want sweet(limed) soil.

thanks, Cass. Unfortunately, I realized this AFTER I limed about 80 lbs / 2000sft for the new seed I just planted. I'm thinking of going back to nice, shredded leaf mulch over the coming years. Don't mess w nature!!!
