I am installing a new sewage basin system and I want to make it easy on myself for when that enevatible time comes when I have to replace the pump. What should I take into consideration other than hiring a real plumber when the time comes.
It is always a good idea to follow the manufacturers' suggested installation instructions, in which most of the time will say to install the unit as pictured, with a shut off valve, check valve and a union.
Also make sure to follow your local code requirements concerning venting and proper discharge tie-in to the existing drainage system.
