hello all. i just bought another lap-top computer and i like it. for some reason i can't log in to a particular site that i was able to with my other computer. i thought i was using an incorrect user name/password so i contacted the site by phone. they checked and they were able to log in and said the problem is with my computer! what should/could i do to remedy this? i'm not having any trouble with my other sites. thanks in advance.

It could be one of a number of things. You don't say what browser your new laptop has and what the old one had. Try a different browser like Chrome. Maybe an issue with popup blocking or browser add-ons. Maybe a JRE version issue.

Do you have said site address to see if we can find if the site has some sort of features that may cause problems?

That site requires cookies and java to be enabled.

You need to check your internet settings in your browser.

I guess you are using IE ?

You may want to try the secure website connection, HTTPS.

https://www.money.org/

Then you can give java the required privilege.

It may be something simple , like a Bad password that is cached.
