Shower diverter that won't

Installed just 5 months ago. It's PricePfister, three controls, one for hot and one for cold the middle is the diverter. Worked great for 5 months but now will not divert to shower. When the handle is turned the tub shuts off but no water flows to showerhead. Have taken the diverter apart as much as I can but see not problems, I know the showerhead is not plugged.

Do you have any way of blowing air backwards from the shower arm down to the valve? Have you pulled the diverter stem out?

The PP diverter merely closes one opening while opening the other. Have you removed the shower head and tried the diverter. If it doesn't work then, you may need to do more work on the diverter or replace it.
