relief valve releasing water

I have a watts 530c relief valve thats only one year old located at my well head. It is set at 100psi and releasing water when pump runs. Should I just adjust up to 125 and see if it stops or something else?

EDIT>>>>>> I turned valve up to 175 and it is still leaking water when pump runs, should I just remove valve and cap off, or something else??

What PSI is the pressure switch set to and is there any flow limiter between the wellhead and the pressure tank?

Cut off at 60. Between the wellhead and tank there is about 280' of pvc, then a spin out filter (for air injector as part of filter system), then a check valve, then air injector then bladerless tank.

Except for the 400 feet and the PRV at the wellhead, it is similar to my system. I have a 100 mesh filter before the micronizer. There is not enough clogging of the filter to raise the pressure but the narrow venturi in the micronizer certainly does.

Assuming your filter is not clogged, try raising the setting on the PRV or replace it with one set to 150 PSI.

Some folk will tell you not to put a filter between the pump and tank but those folk are unfamiliar with micronizers.

Actually I have about 280' of pipe (I was counting the length down well too) I will raise setting, thanks.

EDIT>>> I raised relief valve pressure to 175 and it is still leaking when pump runs. Should I just take the relief valve off and "cap it", any other suggestions??

I have to wonder what changed and why it is popping off now. Maybe it is defective? Maybe the filter is clogged? Maybe the micronizer needs cleaning?

I don't have a PRV before my micronizer and don't know what PSI there is before the micronizer.
