Absolutely no way to verify any of this. We do not know how large the house is or the floor areas. In addition, the costs of the various items depends on WHAT you choose. There is no "generic" price for anything. A toilet, with cistern, can vary from $40.00 US to $1,500.00 US, and everything else can have a similar price range. Only YOU can determine what the prices are based on your selections.

As HJ points out, material costs can vary widely, but he left out another variable that makes the problem even worst. Labor. Even in the US, labor costs vary greatly from area to area, and I'm sure the same situation exists in the UK. Generally what we suggest is to get 3 or 4 estimates from different companies. Make sure the same parameters are given to each company. This process required on site presence. Throw out estimates that are extremely low as well as extremely high. Make sure each company is properly licensed and insured and check references of the companies remaining.

I got the impression that they were only concerned with the costs of the fixtures, NOT an installed price. Otherwise, all they needed to ask was a "package" amount for everything after they enumerated the various items.
