Hi Don, no, but a couple of years ago, I Googled this and found a website or 2 that gave the info and directions to build them. Today I just found a soup can version of one: http://www.turnpoint.net/wireless/cantennahowto.html

But these days, lots of vendors seem to have them for sale. Do your devices have connections for external antennae?
How far do you need to reach? N, G?

Thanks Bob.

Yes most good wireless device have connectors. (Until they get outlawed)

I was building mine using Cans. So far I can get ¼ mile range but would like to make it better.

The price is to high for the built ones, When We have the Technology...

Thank You. I will check that site out. Have a great day

CanTennas are more hype than substance. If you want to build a good highgain antenna and have an old sat dish kicking around, try this:

http://www.engadget.com/2005/11/15/how-to-build-a-wifi-biquad-dish-antenna/

That said, the quality and length of the wire and the entrance protection for the coax makes it impractical in most cases. I just use outdoor radios that many WISPs use.

I would like to do dual band N, but building a 2.4 Gig is tricky enough. But 5 Gig would be nice.

The 2400 Mhz band is getting very congested. And Microwave Oven interference sucks.
