Anyone here about the worldwide coming shortage of lead-acid batteries due to factory and mine closures in china?
Besides shortaged, it is predicted that the price of lead will soon double to nearly $3k per ton.

Just bought some Motorcraft batteries for my diesel pickup at O Reilly's. They are made by Johnson Controls in Mexico. But even that is no good if the Mexican factory can't get the lead.
