Things you would never see in Europe...

Thanks. You need a good slicer after they harden up, otherwise you get thick slices, a sore wrist and a overdose of salt.

If I lived In a real city, I suppose I would just go to the Armenian or Italian Deli.

Coming to America soon, no doubt.

The only difference between your disadvantaged and disillusioned and ours is that yours have guns.

Yikes.

Ban guns.

They're not going to go for the Government.

They're going to come for your wallet.

Your freedom infringes on my right to live.

So far, the Wall St.demontrators have been peaceful.

I have no intention of shooting you or anybody else unless you attack me or my family. Only selfe defense; no pre emptive strike.

However, if they or you come to get my wallet as you say, I'll play that by ear. You have no need to worry otherwise. You'd be surprised, I think on how many people here do not have guns. Criminals do of course; they always will, whether shopkeepers or whatever will not if they are completely banned.

Fewer criminals would have them, if guns were banned, because if found in possession, THEY WOULD BE ARRESTED.

Banning guns would take criminals off the streets because it would be easier to spot the bad guys.

do people still hold 2 fingers up behind your head?

That's right they tape the guns to their foreheads. Another use for duct tape.

off with his head , or balls........

Ah, Ian, never judge a book by its cover.

For instance, I look perfectly sane, but... I even wouldn't place money on it. ;)

he is not playing with a full deck....
there is no doubt about it..

He would never state any of this in a bar
or some place he might get his butt kicked for it...
Only behind the safety of his computor screen,,,,,
.

I say off with his head , or balls for that matter.....
:D:D

depends which bar. ;)
He's close enough to Richmond, VA to talk bad about us in a bar and get his ass whooped there by a good ole boy. Or said otherwise, they will open up a can of whoop-ass on him. Actually, he doesn't need to go very far from DC at all, not far at all.

West Virginia might be best.

I don't think they are allowed to conceal in the bars there.

Makes things a little easier.

Gun control is coming. And most will legally oblige.

Americans respect the law.

You love rules.

Require you to install an expansion tank for a water heater and you do it.

Require you to install a ground rod on an electrical panel and you eagerly oblige.

Require you to hand in your gun, and it will be YES SIR!

May I suggest Martinsburg, WV? I've spent many, many months there on business. Never heard anybody speak about firearms there, but they don't take kindly to speaking bad about our land. And if you get in trouble, accomodations are there for you for free

I would like to know how you propose to get the required number of states to ratify the constitution to permit this to happen. Perhaps you should consider Ballvalve's advice and see the country and get a feel for communities where the economy is based neither on government jobs nor public assistance and evaluate their opinions regarding such a proposed ratification vote.

I won't have to do anything. Not that I could/should.

Public opinion will change.

The younger generation of voters will not tolerate the gun death statistics.

And that means goodbye to guns, grandma/grandad.

It's the same with gay marriage. Young voters will not tolerate old, conservative views. We're already seeing changes, State by State.

Out with the old and in with the new.

The Constitution is overdue another amendment.

It's funny how so many Americans think it's untouchable and perfect when it has been changed so many times already!

Americans wont part with guns anymore than booze in prohibition. And the law wont pass. Even that Rathole of Washington DC's law banning handguns was made unconstitutional. California banned big clips of ammo, so now maniacs pack a suitcase full of guns when going out on a spree.

You really need that road trip to a place like this to understand why we have the space and right to target practice as much as you to play pool in DC. Likely as many Pool hall deaths in DC as gun shot killings. I dont advocate shooting at relics like this, however.
