burcam 1/2 hp shallow well jet pump

Hello

I just brought this pump and have a couple of questions. I will be drawing the water from the lake useing 1 1/4 inch plastic pvc pipe. I believe the inlet and outlet of the jet pump is 1 inch in size. The motor sits on top of the Tank.

If i am correct i need a 1 inch tee that goes on top of the motor in the outllet hole. I believe i then hook up my copper supply line from the cottage to the side of the tee and put a plug on top of the tee that i can undo when needed to add water to the pump.

I hope this sounds right. Do i use brass or galvinize steel for the tee and plug? Is there an easier way in conneting the pump to my supply line to the cottage.

I am newbie so go easy on me lol Any help would be great

Did it not come with two Tees and a flex hose connecting to the tank? The Tee on the pump connects to the tank and the Tee on the tank connects to the house plumbing.

I would use brass.

The pump i have is the 506518ss model.
It has a flex hose that connects to a tee on top of the motor and then it connects to the tank but there is no tee at the tank . It just connects straight to the tank.

So i thought i had to connect another tee on top of motor so that i can connect the copper line to the cottage. Maybe i am missing something this is new to me. Do i add a tee at the tank?

sorry the model of pump is 506547ss not 506518ss
