I've spent the last couple weeks looking online for a good quality tub to replace our outdated one on a limited budget. I've looked at several places online and i think the best way to go is either Lowe's or Home Depot where i can have it shipped to store and pick it up and save shipping cost. After looking through both websites and reading reviews on the different brands and different materials I think i've decided to go with this tub...

it's a Sterling 60 x 32 tub made out of Vikrell material which i've heard is pretty good quality. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this tub specifically since i can't seem to find any reviews on it. Thanks for the help.

The specifications do not show a weight, but the only Sterling tub I have ever installed was the most pathetic example of a plumbing fixture I have ever seen. The material was very thin, and the entire tub was so light that a teenager could have carried it by himself. Although in this case that was a benefit because the location was such that it had to be inserted and removed several times to get everything lined up correctly. Any other material would have been very difficult to install.
