If there is 15 psi drop at a control valve and I only have 20 psi at the faucet...what can I expect in terms of pressure in the house????
Any thoughts would be appreciated

If you have only 20psi then most systems will not work correctly because 20 min for brine draw.. no brine draw no recharge of resin, no recharge no hardness/iron removal.

The 15 psi drop at the control valve refers to the flow rate through the valve. So if you exceed the flow rate, you will suffer a 15 psi drop.

You have to run the max gpm through the valve before you suffer that pressure loss. Unless the softener is way undersized you should still have the same 20 psi. But 20 psi is low and you should find out why it is so low.
