Copper wire stolen from Seven Springs resort
Sunday, January 09, 2011
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Hundreds of dollars in copper wire was stolen from the Seven Springs Mountain Resort maintenance complex in Somerset County.

State police at Somerset said the theft occurred early Saturday.

Someone forced his way into the resort's maintenance complex and, once inside, stole 27,110 feet of copper wire, a chain saw, bolt cutters, and more than 400 copper fittings, police said.

I am figuring, around 10,800 bucks? If bought in the store.

I used a 14 gauge, 1000ft on the roll. Used miminum 400bucks x 27=10,800. I am sure not all rolls were 14, some might had been heavier & more expensive.

I am bored, I got the flu, lol.

Okay... update. Heard on the news, the estimate was alittle over 25,000 bucks.

Sounds like a plumber or, more likely, an electrician to me.
