Is there any place online that lists the nationally most common plumbing codes. Thanks

Every state picks the code it wants to use. There are quite a few different ones and they can modify the one they use.

Is there a list of codes that everyone follows by or atleast are the most common codes. If I cannot find this information online then where can I find them i.e. books. Thanks

Books? Check the ICC and UPC. They both have their codes in books.
