Whenever we do a load of laundry our sewer bubbles,(our washer is in the basement),the sewer has come up once in the shower.Any suggestions how to take care of it?We have not done anything to fix it because we are not sure what to do.

Sounds like a blockage in the line, you need to get a drain cleaning company out to rod it

DO NOT try to clear the line with chemicals. Not only do they not work, they create a hazard for whomever you end up hiring to auger the line. Most plumber advise against drain cleaning companies with "Rooter" in their name. You should find a real plumbing company to do the job.
