water closet/flushvalve question

From a plumbing contractors prospective and based on your experience, who makes an economical, water saving, and reliable water closet and flush valve?.... (US manuf.actures)
Toto, American Standard, etc.?

Toto is a US company HQ in Georgia) although they do have factories in other countries, the quality control is ultra high. I know of no other brand that is made in the US. American Standard, Eljer,and others are made in Mexico; Kohler is Chinese. Toto is the largest toilet manufacturer in the world and their toilets from the lowest priced to the highest all preform extremely well. Toto's flush valves and flappers are standard and available in most hardware and plumbing stores.
