I have about 7" from center--will I have room? I realize the nice little silver thing that covers the ugly gole in the floor wont fit well, but I might be able to live with that.
OK--we are going to replace the lead pipes and tear up the floor. So--how far away from center should I move the supply line? It will still be coming out of the floor, as this is an outside wall in a very old house.
I meant to measure mine, but didn't. The www.totousa.com site has spec sheets with some dimmensions. You can get a good idea from those. http://admin.totousa.com/Product%20Downloads/SS-00157,%20MS874114S_SG,%20V.03.pdf It looks like 8" from the centerline should be okay, but a little more probably wouldn't hurt which would give you a little leaway to put a trim ring on it and not knock your knuckles when turning it on and off.
