I just bought a 1925 single story Old Spanish style home at auction. Here are pictures of the old plumbing.

This home is in Miami.

Do you think any of this can be kept or should I replace everything?

Thanks for any responses! :D

Considering what a mess and how old everything is, I would think the answer would be obvious

pipes

Well, the tub drain is a cobbled up mess, but the other stuff LOOKS okay, but we cannot see enough of it to tell if there are problems with it. Even bad cast iron pipe can look okay on the outside.

Replace every thing.
DWV, supply lines, floor joist.

Also take a VERY close look at the electrical as well.
I would be willing to bet that the FUSE pannel has burned wires or other corosion or damage.

I would also get an electrician out there. That old NM just laying on the damp soil is probably starting to corrode. All that wiring should be properly secured to the floor joists.

I hate old houses! Replace all the plumbing and definitely a lot of the lumber too. These handy man specials are a lot of work. Get the phone number of a good plumber or at least the help of one.
