Electrical Base Board Heaters from Home Depot-REVIEWS?

Thinking of installing two of these, one is living and one in kitchen

When you install these, they should be on a dedicated circuit. Make sure you know before you buy what volt/watt/amp will be required and that you have that available

Before I would install any electric baseboard heat, I would want to
know what the power company charges per Kwh.

I have installed both electric baseboard and force air electric heat.

The baseboard electric heat ran about 250 watt per Foot.

Some electric baseboard heat run at 120 volts, other at 240 volt.

Electric baseboard can have a thermostat install directly to the
unit. Or you could install a thermostat remote from your heaters.


You will find that, is this becomes your primary source of heat, your electric
company will send huge bill each month. Plus an x-mass card at christmas.

Next how big is your electrical service to your house.

If you have a high income, and money doesn't matter, becuase you
have more then you can spend.

Then electric heat is nice. You don't buy oil, gas, to fuel your furnace
or boiler. But it is a dry heat, so you probable want to invest in a
humidifier

Also ask your power company if they have an off peack rate avaible for
things like electric storage hot water heater and electric

Where I live they do, and they can shut it off for about 4 hours n the
morning and 4 hours in the evening.
