How much would you pay to use this forum?

Would you pay, even if you mostly provide advice?

Scuba Dave and Mr Orange seem to have the most money, judging by the size of their houses and the cars they (used to) drive.

I wonder if they would pay for me?

Money....what is that? Ian, I'm pretty broke mostly hence the missing mustang, and the abundant amount of time I have to spend here. M house is onl 1500 sq ft under air.

Now the guy building the TajmaDave may be able to help you out.

To answer your question I have never paid for membership to any forum....

Surely this must cover the bills:

Don't tell me there are two Mr Florida Oranges?

There is an option in the software to have paid membership, but I can't imagine who would pay.

I can't even imagine what type of forum it would be that could charge for membership.

So Ian's question is just a rhetorical one.

Hey, I'm outta work
I have my sugar Momma that takes care of me :D
TajmaDave....I like that
Right now we have 1500 sq ft of "finished" space

I'm working on the framework for my 1st solar heating system
Should be interesting

I knew it was rhetorical.

The car forum that I'm active on has "Premium" membership. Premiums get more PM space, less restrictions on searches, a private forum and some shirts and stuff.

I haven't and won't pay for those features. It has created an us vs. them issue at times.

There are "advice" sites all over, not exactly forums, where you can ask a question and then bid how much you are willing to pay for an answer. For $5 someone will tell you how to replace the thermostat on your '59 chevy, or whatever. Anytopic imaginable is available, and you can have research reports prepared by credentialed experts if that is what you need and have lots of bucks.

I just pass on the whole idea.
