Hi;
I have a convertible jet pump that I use in a shallow well ( 15' deep ) to provide water for my cottage. The pump is set to activate at 20 PSI and shut off at 40 PSI. The pressure tank is set at 38 psi. Unfortunately, I cannot get the pump pressure up above 25 psi even against a closed valve. As such it runs all the time. Any ideas ?
The pump supplies water to the cottage located approximately 75 feet away. the pressure tak is located beside the pump. Is it better located at the pump or in the cottage.
Thank you.
Eric
