How Safe Is Riddex, Rid-X

How safe is Riddex? Is it any good? Does it even work?

I have a blockage of sorts in my toliet and liquid plummer doesn't seem to be budging it.

If the toilet has a blockage, it needs to be plunged or augered.
Liquid Plumber is not the right thing to put down a toilet.
