That's right, Tug Spout.
I thought is was a misspelling, but that's what it's called.

A Tub Spout that is tugged closer to the wall for a better fit.

It seals no different than the older tub spouts that fit over the copper pipe. It just uses a screw drive system to pull it closer to the finished wall. As long as it comes off just as easy as it went on it should be a decent product.
