Can short --say 6 0r 8 inch long SCH 80 with male pipe thread on one end and blank to make a glue join on other end be purchased somewhere? LB

Sch 80 pipe threads easy. Cut to length and thread one end. You could probably also purchase a 8' or 10" nipple and cut the threads off one end.
