MasterCool thermostat senitivity

Has any one figured out a way to adjust the sensitivity of the thermostat so the cooler does not come on and off rapidly (every 10 seconds or so)?

I don't think that's a matter of sensitivity. If you are getting a call for cooling, which is interrupted (turns off), then back on in 10 seconds, something is wrong.

A decent thermostat, and most certainly a quality a/c, should have a 5 minute delay to prevent accidental stopping and starting.

Are you sure that it is the a/c (compressor) and not just the fan or furnace blower?

What is the model number of your stat?

It's a mastercool swamp cooler and controller.
