Fiberglass Tub Shower Combo

I want to mount a flexable shower hose & head on a fiberglass shower. The
original head is mounted so high that a short person can't shower without getting their hair wet each time. Can attachments for such a conversion be mounted to the fiberglass encloseure with screws without causing damage to the encloseure or causing leaks ?

You could install an adjustable shower bar and have the best of both worlds...high if you want it, low if not, and take it off the bar and use as a handheld. Mount the bar, attach the hose to the end of the shower arm, then attach the other end to a handheld. Place the handheld in the holder on the bar at the height you want. Many companies make systems that would work.
