Electrical Code Violations

I started this thread so there will be one place / thread to post these under making it easier for people to find and see them and also easier to reference them when discussing similar problems.

Please feel free to start posting violation pics here and please describe what the violation is so others with less knowlage will be able to learn...Don't just post a a bunch of pics without describing the problem...

I or others will be merging some of the past threads under this one over time...

not sure i see the problem with this, other than it's not dressed nicely.
please elaborate on why this is bad.

Look at the bottom bus, there is a black wire with the strands split sharing two lugs.

Some of the connectors at the top look a little crowded.

The crossing over of wires. Is that allowed over the service entrance cables?

Yes it is, and those are feeders, not S-E conductors.
