Ground resistance

Stick DVM probes into ground.
Put on amps scale.
Measure
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telluric_current
Switch to volts, measure voltage.
Divide V by I to get R.
Done.

Don't take to heart eveything you read on Wiki as a lot of it is nothing more than opinion.

What this article doesn't explain about the resistance of grounding far out weighs any information given

Yeah, it seems like with all the currents flowing in the ground, harmonics of 60 Hz and such, you need to find a quiet frequency to measure the resistance.
Kind of like the AM radio band, looking for a place where there is no station.
