Normally we use Kele CO sensor range 0-200PPM [4-20mA] to DDC panel for Building Automation System.

But currently we are invited by client for bidding one project: their requirement CO sensor is 9PPM [max. 50PPM], analogue output 4-20mA.

1- Did you have experience: how many ....PPM of CO setting point if we want to install at Car park ventillation?
2- Did you use another product in order to comply with their requirement?

Any recommendations would be appreciated and very thankful..

This unit has several set points, including 25ppm warning, 50 ppm alarm, and adjustable. If this does not meet your requirements, then the obvious step is to contact that company for a custom sensor.

My experience is limited to my years in the Navy ( submarines ). In the early years of nuclear submarines, the long term exposure limit for CO was 50 PPM. That was based partly on the capability of the scrubbers to keep it below that level. Later they found that 50 was a little high, and caused headaches, and probably unknown other medical problems. Better scrubbers were installed, and the limit spec is now set at 25 PPM.

Thank you for your comment.

Our requirement is to integrated CO sensor to BMS[DDC controller] system via 4-20 mA or 0-20mA hard wire[Analog signal].

We don't want use digital output signal [Dry contact] from CO sensor module.

I think you probably face this kind of sensor.

Hopefully we can recieved your green sign soon.

Enjoy your day and good luck!
