Well Water test

I bought a test kit from Home Depot and this is what I found;
Well i bought one of those water tests and heres what I got.

ph 7.5 safe
chlorine .2 safe
alkalinity 180-240 high
hardness 250 harder
iron 0 safe
copper 0 safe
nitrate 0 safe


I have well water.

What do you think?

I think yours is similar to mine, but I have a lot of iron and the related bacteria that can plug a pump intake and that ultimately emit a sulfur odor.

On the positive side, the high alkalinity seems to be good for soaking odd-growing toe nails!

Overall, I would say you have relatively decent water.

You definitely need a water softener.
